2024 Graduate, Kyla Work

After years of watching her cousins, Myah and Arie perform, at the ripe old age of 15, God filled her heart with the joy of dance.  It’s remarkable what she’s accomplished in such a short amount of time.  Last year she took on a rigorous course load, including many AP classes, in order to graduate early.  This bold move allowed her to fully dedicate herself to dance for the past several months. With perseverance and commitment, Kyla graduated from Commonwealth Charter Academy with a stunning 4.0 grade point average.  Kyla’s talent and hard work has granted her the esteemed opportunity of acceptance into the trainee program at Chevalier Ballet in New York City. Additionally, she will be attending the highly regarded Summer Intensive at Grand Rapids Ballet in Michigan. I am just bursting with pride for you! I admire your incredible achievements and will miss the way you have always led others with grace. I’m going to miss your beautiful spirit. Love you, Kyla!
