Devotions
- A group session lead by director/teacher
- Begins with devotions (applying scripture to everyday life)
- Anything and everything is open for discussion yet “nothing leaves this room”
- Talk about pressures at school or peers and learn how other students have managed
Students who choose to participate as a Mentor are required to participate in a training seminar to be qualified. A preliminary conference with the Director for all participants will help to decide on a good personality match between Mentor and Mentee.
Personal Mentoring
- One on one with:
- Teacher to Student – (15 – 18 yrs old)
- Student to Student
- Mentors are not therapists; parents; nor able to “fix it”
