What to Wear
Girls / Women
Due to supply chain issues and in an effort to support our only local dance store, class color leotards are discontinued.
- Leotard –
- Any Color Leotard
- Black leotard
- Skirt for Pointe/Variations
- Tights
- Lighter skinned dancers – “ballet” pink with seams
- Darker skinned dancers – nude or “skin colored”
- Shoes
- Lighter skinned dancers – pink; canvas
- Darker skinned dancers – match to tight color; canvas
- Hair
- Tightly secured (bun, etc.), off neck; short hair must have a band to hold hair away from face
Boys / Men
- Shirt – short sleeve, white (no print) t-shirt
- Tights – black shorts with biking pants under or men’s microfiber black tights
- Shoes – black; leather or canvas, or heavy socks
Tap/Contemporary/Acro
- Lycra shorts or black tights, leotard
- Tap – black tap shoes
- Contemporary/Modern/Acro – black ankle high socks
Adult Ballet
- comfortable tight-fitting clothes with socks or
- leotard/tights/ballet shoes
