Sovereign Ballet Company is the performance company of Sovereign Ballet, created for dedicated dancers who are ready to take their training beyond the classroom and experience the discipline and commitment of being part of a company.
Company membership is by audition and is exclusively for dancers enrolled at Sovereign Ballet.
Company dancers train together, learn original choreography, rehearse as an ensemble, and perform throughout the season while continuing their required dance training.

COMPANY A
Performance Company
For dancers who demonstrate the technical ability, artistry, maturity, and commitment necessary for the highest level of company participation.
Company A dancers:
- Learn and perform company repertoire
- Participate in regular rehearsals
- Perform in the Company’s major productions
- Participate in additional performance opportunities
- Participate in NYCDA opportunities
- Pursue RDA/Northeast opportunities
- Maintain required dance training
COMPANY B
Apprentice Company
For dancers developing the technical, artistic, and performance skills necessary to grow as a company artist.
Company B dancers develop:
- Ballet technique
- Musicality
- Artistry
- Performance confidence
- Ensemble skills
- Rehearsal discipline
- Professional expectations
Company B provides a pathway for dancers who may ultimately progress into Company A.
