LEAVING THE STUDIO
Students who are NOT in high school may not leave the building at any time without written parent/guardian permission on file.
- Written permission must be submitted to the studio in advance and will be kept on record.
- Students are expected to represent the studio with respect and integrity at all times when off premises.
CONDUCT & REPRESENTATION
- When off studio premises, students are expected to conduct themselves with respect, honesty, and good judgement at all times.
- Dancers represent not only themselves, but also their families and the studio as a whole. Their behavior should reflect the values of our Sovereign Ballet, including kindness, integrity, and responsibility.
- Any actions that could negatively impact the reputation of the studio, its families, or our relationships within the studio may result in disciplinary action.
DRESS CODE WHEN LEAVING THE STUDIO
- For safety and appropriateness in public spaces, dancers must be properly covered when exiting the studio.
- At minimum, this includes wearing shorts and a T-shirt or comparable cover-up.
- While tights and leotards are appropriate within the studio setting, additional coverage is required when in public areas.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Any student who leaves the studio without proper permission or fails to follow these policies may be subject to disciplinary action.
- Families may be contacted if concerns arise regarding a student’s conduct off premises.
These policies are in place to protect our students, support our studio community, and uphold the trust we share with local businesses. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and respectful environment for all.
