2021 Senior, Claire Costello

Claire Costello also graduates from Fairview High School and will be attending East Carolina University.  I’ve especially enjoyed having Claire around in the past couple years because as she matured, although I’ve never told her this, she reminds me more and more of my sister.  And for anyone who knew my sister, there’s not a single person that didn’t adore her. Claire is just a very classy person.  She is beautiful and kind and has a hopeful spirit; she encourages everyone around her through her words and actions.  Her struggle with turnout was real but her perseverance never wavered, and it didn’t get her down.  But her graceful carriage of her upper body, the way she uses her arms and head when she dances, is elegant and lovely to watch.  It reminds me so much of my sister, Kathy.  Thank you, Claire, for reminding me specifically of such cherished memories.
