Caitlin Burke, Ohio Dance Theatre, Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, received her early training from TeDee Theofil of Studio 1 and Wendi Dubois of Ballet Chelsea. She also holds a BA in Dance with a minor in Arts Administration from Mercyhurst College. Caitlin has danced professionally with Ohio Dance Theatre and taught throughout the Cleveland area.  She has been featured in roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Dew Drop in “The Nutcracker”, the Lilac Fairy in “Sleeping Beauty” and the Summer Fairy in “Cinderella” as well as had the opportunity to perform contemporary works by ballet masters Bruce Marks and Carter Alexander.

JAMES F. DIXON, Sovereign Ballet, was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. His passion for the performing arts started at Central High School through the S.P.A.V.A. Dance program under the direction of Ms. Renné Vicary.

Still a student at Central, Mr. Dixon accepted an invitation to dance for Mercyhurst College Dance Department’s Raw Edges student choreography showcase.  He has also received invitations to dance for other local studios and shows including in 2003, when he accepted an invitation to study with Philadanco. His passion further lead him to dance with Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theatre after which he joined the world class, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company where he continued to perfect his craft by teaching, assisting, choreographing, and studying various dance styles. These opportunities lead him to work with SMAG Dance Collective, the Lula Elzy Dance Theatre, and the Lula Washington Dance Theatre. Currently he is back home in Erie teaching Modern/Contemporary. Mr. Dixon has worked with notable choreographers such as Diane McIntyre, Donald McKayle, Rennie Harris, Donald Byrd, Eleo Pomare, Lula Washington and Tamica Washington-Miller.

Christina Maria Adelhardt is considered one of the leaders in dance of Erie, PA. She arrived here, after dancing with Boston Ballet, as one of the first members of the professional company at Lake Erie Ballet. Training dancers to excel and capture the love of dance is her greatest passion.
